Introduction - accepted

The very first Beerkada strip. I had to post it out of schedule because the FIRST button needed a permalink.

    Meeeeemoooories.
I got to tell you dude, I bought your first compilation in the National Bookstore in Tutuban even though it was all worn out.
And they still made me pay full price!

  2. Mico Says:

so…that’s the very fist beerkada strip.

i just recently got introduced to beerkada, and i gota say, being an eng student myself, i can relate…hehehe

now if i could only find a copy of books 1,6 and 7….

  3. Will Says:

You can’t find the very first one anymore I’m afraid. But Beerlinium is still around methinks. Check the store finder.

  4. Chompy Says:

Mico: Beerlenium, the first book is currently out of print. Book 6 and 7 are very much available ^_^ Please go to Store Finder and check out which National Bookstore or Powerbooks Branch is nearest you ;)

ooohhh..loooove your strips, the humor! its the only filipino-made strip i enjoy (being cebuano makes it hard for me to understand, much less appreciate, the “tagalogness” of strips of other writers, hehe) this is truly an epic..ahhh, watta nice walk down memory lane..actualy i started college almost at around the same time as the beerkada guys so i feel like we all grew up together, hihi! you rock, dude!=)

  10. Kenneth Tirado Says:

this is my first beerkada book and it still survives! unfortunately I was unable to buy the next ones. but the ROTC stories are good. reminds me of my days in the Corps. I became an officer in my freshman year in 1995 and I can say, I could relate with the story. Oh! and by the way, the cadets got to jog with the howitzer again in 2001. One of my cousins got his foot rolled over by the howitzer when he was a cadet. he suffered mutiple fractures. but in the end, they got to fire live rounds at an abandoned mountain in Tarlac. :)
