I saw Twilight for the first time on Star Movies last night. It was cheesier than a ball of edam. I’ll probably stick to watching romcoms. Isn’t it time for another Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore pairing?

Seriously, nahihinayan ako sa Twilight saga kasi there’s a potentially good story somewhere in that mess. There’s enough of a framework on all the characters and enough meat in the series for it. Sayang.

Eize: during the first 15 minutes of the movie, i kept wondering if there was something wrong with the color on the tv set. so dark and washed out.
PCow: i only just started reading Twilight. stephanie meyer seems to be a good amateur writer. not quite a pro like jk rowling or eoin colfer or david eddings, but the story is entertaining enough to hold my interest so far. Re conan, you’re right. rob pattinson’s edward cullen also reminds me a little of bill nigh the science guy, with his skinny frame and high cheekbones.

I never liked Twilight, but after I read the plot of New Moon, my hatred for the franchise became worse: Edward goes away, Bella gets lonely, Bella hooks up with a werewolf, Edward goes bats*** because his love interest left him for another being…
Which is exactly what happened to my love life. T_T

Actually, edward cullen kinda reminds me a little of my ex, who was so over-protective of me that it was ironic that he was the one guy who ended up hurting me when he let go ‘for my own good’. romantically tragic when you’re 19, hilariously embarrasing looking back at it from age 34.

Wow Phoebe, thought I was the only one who did stuff like that and yes I love the little monster even if she does coerce me to use my money to buy stuff she doesn’t need like those Pokemon she grew tired of or her collection of Anime figures or her Pinky Street collection or that Twilight series. Wish she’d do the same when I drool over a Gundam plamo kit though… she reasons correctly that I’m the one with the job and i’m the kuya.

I like the book and the movie (LIKE lang and not LOVE) but personally, I think Bella is weak! She can’t live without a boyfriend. I only kept reading the book and watched the movie for Jacob (gusto ko bigla maglaba nang makita ko yung abs nya).
Have you noticed that Robert Pattinson and Mark Herras uses the same acting technique? No matter what emotions they are trying to portray they always use the same facial expression, the constipated look.
