And the white man keeps telling him to go pick fights with other brown men. And an English hooligan.

I’d take it you’ve read Time’s write-up on the Paq man.

From what i’ve read, they say he’s the ultimate OFW, who has to fly overseas to earn for his family and bring pride to his people.

  2. Jiro Maeda Says:

yeah kaso this ofw is a frigging billionaire who dates starlets in his spare time especially when his wife ain’t looking. He’s also a record artist who can’t sing and an actor who can’t act even if his life depended on it. Wonder if he’ll get elected

“And the white man keeps telling him to go pick fights with other brown men. And an English hooligan.”

not only a white man, but a white jew, the ultimate definition of a man. if only he’d fight mayweather… haha

  4. Leon Says:

I mean “the man” not “a man”,.

  5. parson Says:

    *jimmy-ish* whats a hooligan?

  6. Phoebe Says:

    *ROTFL* Love this strip!!!

Parson: it’s an irish term for someone who goes around looking for violence/trouble. in tagalog: basagulero.

  7. parson Says:

Phoebe: tnx for the trivia. =)

  8. Eize Says:

But thanks to his overseas endeavors, he managed to give his mommy a big wardrobe for her recent birthday. And no one can tell him to stop singing!

    AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

  9. Jiro Maeda Says:

teka, seasoning lang ba ang binebenta ni aling D?

  10. Eize Says:

Jiro - also milk, beer, and possibly a walking advertisement for whoever touched her up.

  11. kyokyo Says:

ahaha ROFL!! well super pacquiao na talaga siya. And Jimmy that’s not just an everyday type of OFW thats Manny ahaha. . The singer-Actor by mistake guy

    @Jiro
hope he doesn’t get elected. . What the heck does he know about politics? and Mindanao is in the state of calamity right now, well mostly Maguindanao

  12. Lyndon Says:

Parson: It’s usually used in the term”soccer hooligan.”

  13. Lyndon Says:

Tora: Funnily enough, I read the Time article only yesterday. I guess the sentiment is common enough.

  14. Jiro Maeda Says:

@Eize too true, too true at the rate she’s getting adverts she could retire even without relying on Manny @kyokyo amen to that. I hew to the opinion that if he really wants to serve his country then he should open several branches of Wildcard here in the philippines, kikita pa yung Master nya. BTW anyone else got shivers when Pacman called Roach ‘Master’? Sorta reminded me of Sith padawans and their Sithlord masters.

  15. Eize Says:

    “Arise…DARTH PACMAN!”

  16. psychoCOW Says:

    Love the strip.

As far as I’m concerned, the White Man wants him to box other brown men and one english hooligan because there is no such thing as a decent white boxer.

And all of you can hate on Manny for all I care. I don’t give a shit about his lack of singing skills, or his half-assed acting skills, or his deluded attempts to run for office (hope he loses too), or his mother (who honestly is quite entertaining). All I give a shit about are his boxing skills, which at this point are quite unparalleled.

Besides, which among you have the power to stop crime and eradicate traffic for three hours? None, right?

  17. R3D RJ Says:

    MANNY MANNY MANNY!!!
    MANNY MANNY MANNY!!!
    MANNY MANNY MANNY!!!

  18. Lyndon Says:

Jiro: I think it was ability to bend Manny’s will and make him focus once more on training that earned Roach the title of Master.

  19. Lyndon Says:

i have a theory on why Manny keeps running. He’s using the Enrile strategy, where he runs for office so that he can refuse to sponsor other candidates. If he bets on one candidate and loses, the winning candidate will make life miserable for Pacman.

Running for office is apparently the most cost-effective move he can make during election time, even if he loses.

  20. dee Says:

Mr. L, wow, i never thought of it that way.

  21. Jiro Maeda Says:

L hmmm good point and I think you’re right about the master thing too. Still feel the shivers when he calls roach that though…

  22. psychoCOW Says:

    L: Interesting.

  23. K Says:

wehhh… super pakyaw? he’s retiring soon, off to look for another idol….

Why the heck Vader wasn’t called Master?

  24. KYoKyo Says:

    @Jiro
If he really wants to serve the country. . Then he should beat the crap out of those who committed the damn massacre in Maguindanao, Imagine journalists and women being killed grr. . . (someday I will be a journalists so dont kill me grr)

  25. Jiro Maeda Says:

@kyokyo even wapakman is powerless against those types of demons so don’t ask him for miracles.

  26. Kyokyo Says:

    @Jiro
yah . . well atleast there is a good proof against the head demon so Pacman can just rest his ass on the sofa. He should stop calling roach his “master” it creeps me out brrr *feels a storm coming*

  27. CyanFox Says:

@Jiro: ei, ders nothing wrong calling Roach “Master” - even Anakin called ObiWan that, and Obiwan called QuaiGon Jinn that… now if Pacman stops listening to Roach sides with the dark side, that’s Sith-evil…

@K: technically, Vader/Anakin never had an apprentice :)
