I remember an episode of Friends where they were all staying at a hotel, and Rachel, carrying an armload of stuff, ran by the others yelling, ‘Hey guys, there’s an abandoned housekeeping cart down the hall!”
And Chompy’s right. the supplies are already packaged into the room rate. I usually take the pens and toiletries. The little shampoo bottles are very handy for refilling with your own necessities for a short trip, especially with the strict airline regulations about carrying liquids.

How about the remote control of the T.V. in the room? or a hairdryer in the bathroom and sometime people could sneak off with the hotel’s towels, pillows and bedsheets. A lot of hotels suffer from this. Though I’m not sure Filipinos are more active at this. At best, foreigners coming to Philippine hotels do it a lot, too.

Di ba dapat, “”They’ll take everything not bolted down to the floor as souvenirs.”

Still the new beanbag strips is one of your best.

Hotels can’t recycle the mini soaps and shampoos. Besides, my company paid full price for the room including the amenities inside. It’s not as if I asked for more than my alloted share. :p And they really make good souvenirs! It’s not an exclusive Filipino trait. Frequent travelers do this all the time.

Don’t forget the Hong Kong brochures. :p I got my brochures from the Visitor’s Information Center at the airport *sigh* I wish our airport also has a comprehensive collection of travel brochures for visitors to the Philippines.
