To answer your question, don’t you think it’s Lyndon’s prerogative how he wants to draw his characters? Anyway, the Beerkada gang are in Japan for this particular storyline (read the first strip from November) and I agree and think the cast looks pretty cute with their ‘manga-nized’ versions to refer to their trip in Japan. If you read until the end of the storyline, when they return back to the Philippines, you’ll notice that the style of drawing reverts back to the original one.
I actually applaud Lyndon’s Manga skills! Never knew his art styles could be so versatile and just as dextrous. Wow, you’re good Mr. L. (palakpak) 😀
