Don’t worry: organizers cleaned up the cups after the event.
That is, the ones that street scavengers didn’t collect throughout the run.
I didn’t go under the sprinkler station because I was wearing my mp3 player.

That sprinkler station will come in handy for the MPD should activists picket the US Embassy again
You know, my gut may not have shrunk yet from all the running, but I can now outlast my dogs when I have to chase them up and down across the street. I don’t get short-winded or anything. Awesome!
I envy you L.
L: I was told that the first parts of the body to shrink are the limbs and the last is the stomach.
Curses!
You know what’s interesting? For more serious races, besides having water and Gatorade stations, they have honey stations and banana stations.
Honey and banana? Is that a breakfast station? Kulang na lang milk. 😀
By a certain point for ultra-marathoners, water and Gatorade won’t cut it. You need to replenish energy na.
I ran at Corregidor last weekend. While the elites (and “elites”) were sucking on their Hammer gels and GU gels, I was happily devouring the free bananas. :3
I did not see any elites in my race. Maybe next time…
