Calico - Pickup
During last Monday of Komikon 2008, a cat strolled in the corridors of UP College of Fine Arts where we were setting up the complimentary lunch for the attendees of that day’s lecture. Chompy started feeding the cat some scraps.
At this point, Ariel commented that only female cats have three color patterns, which I later found on the Web is called Calico. Male cats get only one or two colors (unless they have some weird chromosomal condition.)
So male cats out there, watch out for two-colored female cats. They’re cosplaying.

Only female cats can have 3 colors, but they can also have 1 or 2 colors. Duh.

Conversely, all-orange cats are usually boys. If Lyndon had colored this strip and the girl is orange, malamang boy in disguise yan (unless it’s a real girl–hala, CATFIGHT!).

its possible that guy cats can have a tricolor fur, but its rare. i saw one in the p.a.w.s adoption center, he’s so cut … like vernon

i had a female that only have 2 colors… actually, i had 2 to exact… the colors are black and white… and i guess the tricolor cat almost always being female is true based on what i’ve observed with my cats…

aww…ain’t that cute? a club/bar for cats…..now if they could only make host clubs…
