The thing with photography hobbyists is they want to carry those lumbering phallic equipment around to point at objects of interests. Freud would have a nose bleed with all the symbolism at play. Plus, they actually take pictures because it will last longer.
They’re the opposite of cell phone users, who believe in smaller = better.
How come there aren’t cell phone hobbyists who carry massive mobile units around? And carry different types of peripherals to get a better signal?
hmmmmm….hehehehe…this reminds me of a Jim Paredes…being a photographer, he said in one of his books that one time, he said that he wanted sort of a fulfillment in photography, a friend said to him, “how about a longer lens?” hehehehehehe…Freudian indeed
