This storyline occurred during last Holy Week. It’s based on a true story.
I needed a story to show that Dana doesn’t just exist to develop Glen’s character. And the story I heard involves a European, so methinks it’s one of those fortuitous moments in comics-making…
So does this mean that Dana has returned to the Philippines for good or just for this storyline?
Was this inspired by that Aussie?
He was one those crucified in Pampanga last Good Friday to fulfill religious vows or other personal reasons.
While veteran crucifcants only required some antispetic and a round of drinks to recover, this Aussie had to be taken to a medical tent from the cross.
This arc also reminds me of La Visa Loca
What is cow doing in the last panel? And why doesn’t he fall off at that angle?
I have no idea what I was doing either. Which pretty much sums up my life.
Tora: No, this based on the Finnish guy who participated in the flagellation rites in Cutud. And I’d love to see you get yourself nailed in a cross, see if they don’t rush you to a hospital too. While I have no love for that Aussie dude, nobody handles the nailing well on the first try. So what are you insinuating? Your bravado is misplaced.
“…nobody handles the nailing well on the first try…”
THAT’S what SHE said!
amiright?
it’s nearly 4 months late Lyndon but…*high five* for the ThatsWhatSheSaid. XD
