Phoebe: That’s what makes a true genius. It’s those who seem insane that are the greatest minds. Take Einstein for example: he looks crazy, but he’s one of the world’s greatest scientists.
Jopoy: ‘the line between genius and insanity is but a thin one’. mark twain, i think, or einstein said it. anyway, I’ve always thought a certain degree of insanity is a requirement to become a beerkadet.
hey, don’t put that demon girl ad into my favorite past time. it angers me that those prissy health nazi prudes pressure us smokers to quit our vices because it’s harmful to their health. Heck, we smoke in designated smoking areas and those idiots still linger in our turfs.
Paolo: that’s assuming that einstein was totally sane to begin with, which I doubt. it takes a bit of insanity to spark the imagination that flares into genius. sane, logical people are usually unimaginative and boring.
Ken: I usually kid smokers that they’re stepping out for some fresh air to pollute. I do appreciate their being polite though. A non-smoker who tells a smoker to quit is like a skinny bitch telling a fat person to lose weight–irritating. They’re your lungs Ken, but I think you should consider keeping it down to less than a pack a day to minimize the health risks. i’ve seen many relatives who have died because of smoking related illnesses including a 3-pack-a-day uncle who died of heart trouble complications (he lingered a painful 3 days bleeding internally) and a great-uncle who died of lung cancer (he was literally drowning on dry land for the last 4 or 5 days of his life).
lol! good one, she turned to cigarette ads
What if she switches to San Mig Light? 😉
ROFLMAO. You’re a genius Mr. L!
For some reason, I knew this would happen, but it’s still funny.
😀 you really have a warped mind, L.

Jopoy: I know. it was a compliment.
Phoebe: If you think about it logically, most of us here have already lost our sanity, therefore, we are also beginning to become geniuses.
Where the hell did that come from?
Well…that ought to convince people to quit smoking.
Jopoy: ‘the line between genius and insanity is but a thin one’. mark twain, i think, or einstein said it. anyway, I’ve always thought a certain degree of insanity is a requirement to become a beerkadet.
Someone’s using that line as a jump rope…
didn’t einstein turn loco in the end?
I don’t think anyone is 100% sane. Everyone is insane to an extent

Phoebe: didn’t he like, withdraw from everything in the end, because of guilt not because of his super duper brain?
Paolo: yup. he felt guilt over his part on the invention of the atomic bomb.
