Ryan Orosco dropped by the house the other day. He asked me if I knew about the DragonballZ online game.
Now DragonballZ was one of the animes I grew up with during my teenage years. But it’s notorious for episodes-spanning battle, mixed with flashbacks and filler. And it grew bloated with power-ups, as Son Goku just kept getting more powerful with each season.
I suspected the online game would be just as bloated. And long.
Alan is bitter? wahay? does dragonball z failed his childhood
Dragonball Z is an abortion. Toriyama didn’t want those events to take place and want it all to end. But executives and merchandising, you do the math. That’s why Toriyama had nothing to do with GT and stuck to character designs instead. Who would want 4 versions of super saiyans? Shonen Jump executives does!
that is sooo sad. I hate it when execs do that. oh well. (on a side note, daming typo, Mr. L!)
fixed.
DBZ was entertaining until the Majinbuu Saga. SSJ3 is just too much. The Tenkaichi Budokai (Strongest Under the Heavens) tournaments were not as amusing as the Dragonball editions.
grumaduate na ako sa elementary asa snake road pa din si goku! san ka pa? =)
Willie: i feel for yah!!! 🙂
its actually called Dragon Ball O.. and whether we like it or not.. the saiyans are now extinct in that game..
I had a dormmate whose family name is Orozco. But I am having a hard time remembering the name. I was in Kalayaan in 1995.
as for the Dragonball Z series, we always counted three commercial breaks and then prepared ourselves to see “tsudoku” at the lower right side of the screen…
Same thing with Samurai X except is takes less time to conclude a “cycle”
Thats unfair to Dragonball Z.
The author of this comic clearly has never watched it, otherwise he wouldn’t be spouting Narutard propaganda.
Kam: there’s no question that Dragonball Z is a great anime. But sometimes, you might wonder why a 5-minute battle takes 5-10 episodes (please confirm) to finish (i.e. Super Saiyan Son Gokou’s 5-minute battle against Freeza).
