I watched live-action Transformers in HBO in Boracay recently. I still can’t make heads or tails of the shape of those giant robots.

Ratchet is a Hummer H2 SUV. He is supposed to be an ambulance but the filmmakers wanted a new vehicle for Ratchet.
I’m a Starscream fan. I’m kinda disappointed on his design and short role in the movie, but I love his battle scene with the F-22s. Hope he returns at the next movie.

well, i have read somewhere that VW declined to be included in the movie (or is that another US propaganda against the Germans? lol ). also, i read that Starscream and Megatron will be back. 🙂
I attended a wedding this evening and when it came to the part where doves will be released, the emcee mentioned that anyone who catches the doves will be luck. I was thinking the guests pull out their pistols and cocking in unison waiting for the doves to be released, shoot them, and catch them so they could be lucky. hehehe
Michael Bay didn’t want Bumblebee to be a Volkwagen because he didn’t want a Herbie the Love Bug association (I think the Herbie movie came out at the same time). Personally, I love Optimus Prime’s upgrade to a Peterbilt truck. Naming the giant tank Devastator was a real bummer; what are they going to name the giant robot that requires 5 robots to transform?

He’ll be back in the sequel, Revenge of the Fallen. According to the comic-book tie-in, Starscream left him back on Earth to continue spying.
I don’t any transformers aside from Optimus and Megatron.
