Our favorite Cubao place is the new Ali-Mall, with the Gateway-style movie theaters that people don’t know about.
I live in the area and pass through the mall to and from work and shop, dine and even go to mass there.
However, the only I have ever seen a movie in the Ali Cinemas ever since their recent renovation was Ironman 2
aww, now the people know about it…
anyway, people might still be to lazy to walk a few meters away from Gateway to go to Ali Mall
Not a problem. I leave nearer to Alimall.
BTW, Lorie, have you tried the Ali-Gateway shuttle service?

200 meters from gogo motel and near gateway and araneta coliseum.. so that makes them near the restaurants/fastfood joints? hehehe..
it’s still easier to just meet up a the MRT station or at farmer’s.
fun fact: Ali mall was named after Muhammad Ali, the boxer, for his “Thrilla in Manila” boxing.

Ali Mall is connected via a footbridge to the SM Department Store so it’s really very convenient to go to it now.

For Mancores like Bryan you point the nearest motel / hotel
