Aww, poor Alan. I guess it’s one way for the boy to become a man. (gettin cut off by his parents *snort) I forgot who said it but I heard from a celebrity who didn’t believe in doing commercials that using yourself to sell something is no different from prostitution. Prosti’s = sellouts (transitive property) 🙂
When you work as an employee, don’t you also sell yourself, your knowledge and your skills to be paid?
Uhm, not if you’re doing it by choice, you believe and support what you’re doing and it’s not against your principles. Like, I know this guy who gets paid to draw animal porn and he is completely cool with it because of the reasons above. 🙂
Who’s to say you’re not doing it (i.e. slaving for work) by choice? I mean, who can force you to work but yourself? You may not entirely love your job (whatever it is) but it’s still your choice. In the end, you either quit your job, look for another one, or be your own boss (by starting a business).
It is Alan’s choice to rent himself out, in order to pay for his tuition. Lucky (?) him that it’s a decent company who hired him.
^_^
I think Alan’s gonna strike it rich with his advertising. Advertising is one lucrative business. He is a classic example of what Robert Kiyosaki means of a rich man.
allan should try boxing… then he can place the ads on his shorts like the pacman.. ^^
