I hesitated writing this particular parody of Death Note because the pun was too easy.
I did not hesitate writing a parody of Death Note because my earlier parody involving The Ring predated the Asian Horror phenomenon by a few months. I feel that Death Note is still snowballing into the Pinoy mainstream crowd, so I anticipated the demand for it.
At last, here is the famous Beerkada storyline that thrilled dozens of fangirls everywhere while leaving the mainstream audience scratching their heads.
I first encountered Death Note during my stay in Tokyo. There were posters everywhere proclaiming the second part of a live-action movie. There was this goth guy and a normal guy, with an english title.
