Esperanza was a popular soap opera back in the 90’s, with a catchy theme song. I tried replacing it with the theme from Friends, but the lyrics wouldn’t fit the panels.
The original strip refers to Akyat-Bahay gangs, a notorious criminal group known for scaling upscale residences and killing the occupants while robbing the place clean.
And they go to jail. And then they are set free.
