Well, remember when investigative news shows wouldn’t expose the harmful effects of cigarettes because one of their sponsors is a cigarette company (see the movie The Insider)?

Corporate meddling was what did the PCow here.

Apparently, Sesame Street has letters in the Alphabet as major sponsors.

Now, would Sesame Street want to lose their key source of $$$ because their sponsors are gettng bad pres for being carcinogenic?

LOL. I love this strip! Love the Muppets, from Sesame Street, to The Muppet Show, to Fraggle Rock. which reminds me, L, I think Kermit is from The Muppet Show, not Sesame Street.
