Hey, that’s an old-school d-tag. That’s always a pain to lace to your shoes, so these days, the d-tag is this orange tech strip you slip through the laces.
When I ran my first 10k, I saw this woman running with her Jack Russell terrier. Poor thing kept jumping up and down, trying to convince his owner to pick him up.

@Eize: Poor dog.. if the owner was going to let the dog run with her, she should have carried it.
@Chompy – I saw them again at a recent 10k race at BGC. Man, that lady was training that puppy hard.
