Did you ever plan to watch Hellboy 2 at the theaters, then pass DVD stalls with Hellboy 2 blaring on all their TV sets weeks before the regular screening?

I saw the DVD pirated copy. I just lacked proper subtitles. I honestly do not go to movie houses any more because:
1. Mahal
2. There will always be an annoying somebody who will ruin the show.
3. Bad ambience [nothing beats the comfort of your home]
Oh so true.
Though sometimes I’d like to see the show at the moviehouse. After buying so many DVDs, the house gets so cluttered with so many old DVDs. So I’d just watch at the moviehouse. I ain’t a hellboy fan, so I never bothered watching it, but if it shows at the cable, why not?
I’d like to see a Death Race spoof, titled “DEBT RACE”
Lee’s right about 2. I typically watch movies during weeknights to avoid packed theaters but there are still jackasses who ruin things. Like while watching Pirates of the Carribean at World’s End, the theater wasn’t packed, but a bunch of teenagers intentionally sat in seats behind ours and gabbed away on their cellphones and kept kicking the back of my seat. I really had to control the urge to thrash the lot of them. And while watching Indiana Jones 4, a moron at the back of the cinema kept cheering Harrison Ford on like he was at a college basketball game. Stupidity and obliviousness should be illegal.
wILDCARd…i think you have something there…
Why does the Beerkada still let Harry hang with them?
pahabol.. oo nga pala, bakit considered spoiler if the movie Helboy 2 is based on the comic book? if you have read the comic book, isn’t that a spoiler in itself? just like the harry potter movies: if you’ve read the books and then watch the movie then no amount of spoilers will ruin the movie.
it’s like watching “Jose Rizal” and getting disappointed that the hero died at Bagumbayan at the end of the movie.
Hellboy 2 is an original screenplay not based on any comic book.
You see, in The Golden Army, Hellboy and the agents of BPRD *****************************************************. Then they *********************************************.
It turns out that **********************************************.
Wow.
I already read the Wikipedia summary. XD
Phoebe, why even torture yourself with staying in one row inside the cinema? That happened to me before I simply transferred seats at the other side of the theater.
It also brought the message I’m taking any of their garbage.
Ariel: and give up my wonderful center first row balcony seat to an inferior side seat? no way. After a glare didn’t work, I pointedly told those brats that we all paid good money to watch the movie so shut up and watch. I’m big and loud and scary if I have to be.
Jopoy: Harry does have his uses.
Well, Hellboy II was a bit of a let down… although he is demon and displays the obvious skills he acquired from his origins, but seriously getting severely wounded by a silver spearhead?
Also, most annoying thing of all, some kids were there watching with us and they were screaming bloody hell. It was like a gradeschool fieldtrip or something.
Anyways, over-all rating for me. Hellboy I 90% Hellboy II 85%
crap, i didn’t get to watch it here.. have to check the torrent sites na lang, but anyway, was it worth your bucks?
the joke seems oddly familiar…very familiar.
“Kwento ko sa inyo ang nangyari: MAY NAMATAY…”
alam ko na KUNG sino.. initial is P.L.
There are movies that are best seen in a theater which require high picture quality and sound fidelity for them to be better appreciated. Action/Adventure flicks as well as CGI fests are some examples
Then there are those which are still good movies but you do not need to be in a theater to better appreciate. Here, visuals and sounds aren’t that needed but what are highlighted would be acting and story-telling. Those would be comedies and dramas.
There are also those movies better watched at home because they may make you do things that you can’t do in a theater. One worksafe example would be Mama Mia. Try dancing along without elbowing the guy next to you or falling over the seats.
Jopoy: the antagonist type sometimes would be missed within the group…just like blackmage in the light warriorse party.
