tflc.l: if cebu is any indication, beerkada stocks are scarce at provincial branches of bookstores. out of stock din ang beerkada dito. If you have a national bookstore branch in davao, request their customer service to follow up on their beerkada stocks. sometimes it takes a nudge from the customers before the manila office sends current items.
to davao beerkadets, or any provincial beerkadets: go to the section head for trade and request them to fax a requisition slip to beerkadaworks enterprises for the missing beerkada books. do this everytime you can’t find a copy. ask for their names.
they’ll eventually fax out of fear for their jobs and *presto* beerkada books in stock.
tflc.l: the section head for trade (aka purchasing manager) is in charge of ordering and following up on stock orders. At NBS, just go to the customer service counter and ask them to look up the beerkada titles on their data base, then ask them to put in the order. Have them call you when the stocks arrive. If you take down the name of the customer service person, she’ll make sure that you get your order. It’s called the power of the name. If the store personnel know you have their names, they can’t shirk responsibility coz you can report them. 🙂
Parang pumayat yata si Franchette.
L: please keep your phat girls big. we are an under-represented group. 🙂
(totally unrelated to the strip, but)

why do i get the feeling franchette would end up as debonair bryan’s girl?
Ken: as they say, there’s a cover for every pot. 😉
pumayat nga si franchette, and she looks sassier than ever. what if tinikling is introduced in So You Think You Can Dance?
i like to see bryan bust some moves…
@phoebe – thanks much 🙂 it’s just really saddening that i have to request for it. and are all covers supposed to fit pots or just make do? *random*
and i don’t understand half the words mr. L’s saying. section head for trade? requisition slip (though the section head must know this)?
sorry but my iq fails XD
section head, in tagalog, pugot ulo? just kidding, eh, in layman’s term, go to the store manager, demand for a request order.
