If you ever dared change your phone language setting to Chinese, it’s extra difficult to turn it back to English.
Especially since the menu options are all in CHINESE.
You can luck it out, though.
Or you can learn Chinese.
Mandarin, not Fookien.
Don’t spend eight years learning Fookien only to find out your cell phone is set in Mandarin.
What a subtle way to remind your reading public of the Lunar (read: Chinese) New Year.
I just noticed, Boopey seems to have gained a knack for dressing up in superhero-inspired outfits.
She seems to be wearing something Frank Castle wore
I remember my Mandarin teacher in college saying that it doesn’t matter which Chinese language you learn, you’ll still be able to understand the writing posted on the wall (or in this case the celphone) since most of them use the same characters (be it Traditional or Simplified).
It’s a different case with Japanese and Korean, due to some variations in certain Chinese characters in terms of form and strokes for those languages.
But… all Chinese writing is the same, isn’t it? They’re just read differently in each variant.
