Newworlds.ph staff got treated to an advanced screening of AVATAR in SM North IMAX. It was my first IMAX 3D movie and it was awesome. Cameron filled the screen with a completely detailed planet.

Great news! Newworlds.ph got us editors into a press screening of Cameron’s AVATAR this Tuesday! I’m already preparing an Old Worlds comics just for that event. I’m also glad that a holiday movie got through before MMFF week crept up.
Speaking of which, how come I’m not seeing posters for Nieves, the full-length feature film starring Marian Rivera?
I visited Bulwagan ng Dangal recently, which was converted from the basement of the UP Main Libe. It’s a rare moment when UP splurges on something like a heritage museum, so off Chompy and I went.
BnD is filled with portraits of former deans and college founders. So if you want to know what Malcolm of Malcolm Hall looks like (he’s Caucasian!), you can drop by the museum.
So I visited UP Diliman recently to check up on MBA Chompy, and we decided to eat at Beach House, famous for its barbecue. But when I got to the counter, the staff started giving me free babecue with rice! It turns out Sigma Rho was treating customers to free bbq meals.
Thanks, guys! The money I was planning to spend on bbq I just donated to the newly opened Bulwagan ng Dangal, the UP Heritage Museum.
