It’s bad enough we’re made to feel like criminals every time the security guard inspect our bags or present IDs when using credit cards. Now we’re being asked to squeal on fellow movie-goers.
I understand that cable companies worry about illegal connections, unpaid bills, and non-renewing subscribers. I even will forgive their hostile treatment towards their paying clients, sending notices with thinly-veiled threats of lawsuits, public humiliation and such.
