This is the start of the Hong Kong storyline.
Not only is it not an ensemble storyline, – only Andrea eventually gets to go – it lets Andrea develop as a character. She’s always perceived as a two-note character (the Chompy and Glen’s girlfriend), and the next couple of strips defines who she is without Glen.
Or the Beerkada.
Note that Andrea’s boss pronounces her name just like Meryl Streep’s character in The Devil Wears Prada.
The Devil Wears Prada is a really nice movie. Go watch it. Better yet, read the book.
You were right about Chompy. This is one storyline where she is shown to be not always with Glen. And *ahem* working too. 😀
Andrea’s boss looks kinda like Miranda Priest too.
