Jimmy: JOLLIBEAN is a soy product franchise in Singapore, and can be found in many of the malls here.
What’s next?
McSoya?
Tropical Nut?!

so it’s a vegetarian fast food
? hehehe.. forgot the Question mark.. 😀
the font used for Jollibean is exactly the same as the ones used by our beloved fast food chain…
really funny, but too bad, Jollibee isn’t a global trademark as yet.
It’s not fair they copied the fontstyle and idea almost exactly. Even if there isn’t any official trademark it’s still ain’t right. Humph. Though I do appreciate the vegetarian aspect. Any chance a jollibean would open in Manila? 🙂
Well, we shouldn’t jump to conclusions.. I think it might be a pretty common font.. As far as I know, there’s no Jolibee in Singapore yet.
It’s too much of a coincidence chompy.
…And if Jollibee does open in Singapore?
Does the shop have a mascot? Hopefully it’s not an ant that looks like a round Jollibee with trimmed wings and butt.
Tenkouken, in case Jollibee does open a branch in singapore, it would have to inhibit itself from using the brand name unless through a litigation arrangement, the brand name would be allowed there, which again is unlikely because Jollibee IS a regional brand and not a global one. JFC wouldn’t have a chance winning an IP infringement case since it wasn’t registered in Singapore’s Ministry of Trade in the first place. Hope you would remember the Shangrilla Issue which was raised some time ago.
About the Jollibean mascot I doubt it would be a happy MR. Bean.
