Uh, L, the Magellan’s cross is in Cebu, the Lapu-lapu monument is in Mactan, and the thousand sluts are at the Waterfront.
Tora: Lechon, bai. Steamed Fried Rice, bai. Danggit, bai. Dried Mango, bai. Otap, bai. Lotsa, lotsa goodies in Cebu. as L suggested when they were here, I could’ve gone to Manila, pretend to be Syeri, and shock the hell out of her acquaintances into blurting out, “What the hell did you not eat in Cebu?”
Come ye all to our fair city, where the air is clean(-er than manila at least), the traffic is light(-er than manila), the people are nuts, but the food is good.
Pheobe: I’ve been vacationing in Cebu since I was a child and I always visit the cross and sto. Nino church whenever I go to cebu with my family.
My mom went there to pray often when she was having trouble conceiving a child 10 years into her marriage. She believes that place made it finally possible so that’s why we always go there first the moment we get off the boat no matter HOW early in the morning it is.
We always have a great time there. 🙂
When Cebu comes to mind, I remember the classic Ad Congress catchphrase: Donut, Bai? Donut, Bai?
danggit, bai!
I like boopey’s clothes lately. it seems she’s the only character who gets a wardrobe change among the group
