Hi Mr L, I’ve been an avid follower of your comics for years, and sobrang naenjoy ko lahat yan! From The Philippine Star, to philstar.com and beerkada.tk, and now dito sa beerkada.net. =D
I suppose you’ve been here in Singapore for a few days? I hope you enjoyed your stay. I’m delighted to see Singapore in your strips. Sa uulitin!
Hey Chompy and Lyndon. Gotta love Singapore. Was there for Halloween last year and it was fun. Saw the Merlion, partied in Clark Quay, attempted to see the Fountain of Wealth but it was under construction, ate at Toast Box (which already has a branch in trinoma), and had fun on Orchard Road. -sigh- Hopefully, I’ll be going back there to visit my friend after she gives birth in April. But that will come after Hongkong trip No. 2. Going there this June hehehehe
Chompy: Tampines area ako (Eastern SG). By the way, you remind me of my girlfriend (she’s there, I’m here… oh well..) Kulang nalang kasi i-“chomp” nya ako e. =D
When in Singapore, the must-visit places (at least for me) are:
The Singapore Zoo, the birdpark too maybe, Sentosa (together with Underwater World, Merlion, the beaches and cablecar ride!).. and lotsa more!
The Singapore Flyer too! For shopping naman, the Orchard Road belt (including Plaza Singapura), Suntec City and Marina Square.
Oops. Sorry for the long post, got carried away! =P
Ah Tampines.. That’s the area where the other IKEA is right? I passed by it on my way to the airport..
I’m assuming you’re working in Singapore.. Why not bring your gf with you to SG? There are a lot of job opportunities there right?
No worries about the ‘long post’.. it’s not that long really.. :p We want to cultivate a healthy conversation here at the website.. and since the topic of the comic strip above is Singapore.. that’s ok..
Sayang, if I found out earlier, I could have met up with you in Singapore. Maybe next time 😉
Yes, we’re near the airport. Studying in SG (taking up Diploma in Info-Communications), with the whole family here. =)
Yeah, I guess my gf can consider coming over in the future…=P
I’m still Pinoy sa puso, and I feel proud whenever I see a sketch/caricature by “Miel” in The Straits Times (I’m sure you know him? I think he’s an illustrator for the paper…)
Anyway, I’m sure I am not the only reader from SG here?
its good to know there are also readers here from other countries… currently im here in korea and there are also a lot of attractions here… i hope i could also go to singapore someday…
it is hangeul, the Korean alphabet… now is a great time to visit here because its spring and the trees and flowers are starting to bloom again(is my term correct?) like magnolia, and the popular and my favorite cherr blossoms… ^ㅇ^
