There’s all this hype surrounding the IPhone. I’ve never gotten an Apple product, and I’m not planning to start with the IPhone. I got a Nokia E61, and I love the QWERTY keyboard. The IPhone has this touch keyboard, and I’ve had enough of that with my previous PDA, a Palm. You can’t type paragraphs with that crap.
I do miss the apps thats compatible with the Palm OS. And the E61 has a slow processor, though the wifi was a sweet surprise.
Perhaps I’ll be getting a Treo soon.
I went back to my dad’s hometown in Quezon province to attend my deceased grandfather’s birth centennial.
I took the airconditioned provincial bus, a Raymond. I made the mistake of taking a non-airconditioned bus before. Tight seating. Bad backrest. Informal atmosphere. Packages everywhere.
For a 6-hour trip, you pay extra to avoid that kind of hell.
I got to talk to Ryan, who did outstanding work in most of the Beerkada book covers, and he offered to do the cover for the upcoming Beerkada collection. This is in spite of his current workload and newborn kid.

I’m working backwards in building up the archives section, personally translating the Beerkada strips to english and posting them on the date they got published on The Philippine Star.
I’ll be monitoring the site visits. If more and more people check out the site to read the published strips, I’ll be encourage to post more of them.
