My brother is only turning 15 in October and he took the UPCAT last Sunday. He started school early.

Chomps: Nope. I actually took time out of my normally hectic schedule to do the math. I used the “Chicken Little” storyline to give a timeframe on his age. Chicken Little the movie (and the Beerkada strips) came out in 2005. Vernon looked like he was 5 or 6 during those strips. So… either A) Vernon was a 10 year old midget back in 2005 who shot up two feet in five years, or B) He’s currently a 10-11 year old 4th year high school student gifted child.
And lest you tell me that THAT is the normal height of 10 year olds back in 2005, the average height of tweens are in the 5′ – 5’2 range. Assuming Alan is 5’9, a 10 year old kid would level at the shoulders. During the Halloween Costume strips (Nov 11 and 12, 2007) he was at that height. During the Chicken Little strips, ignoring that large hair, he was about nipple height.
But hey, to make you feel better, let’s just go with Vernon being a former midget 10 year old back in 2005 and forget about it, okay? Sige na.
now you know where Bart Simpson and Mang Dagul’s kid’s adolescence went.
Its possible that Vernon is still a preadolescent kid who happens to be a child prodigy, which is why he is taking the UPCAT. UP after all is no stranger to child prodigies among its students.
If Vernon accelerated his way through grade school and high school, he has the potential to get a good showing on the UPCAT

The UPCAT results just came in. How did Vernon fare?
