I’m mixing up Richard Gutierrez’s knight-in-shining-speedboat stunt with one of the few classic puzzles that haven’t been referenced in pop culture. (The guard who only tells the truth and the other guard who only tells lies is fairly worn out at this point.)
This strip was also inspired by Chompy’s mom, who was trying to transport two dogs out of the flood yet couldn’t leave them alone with the other as they would tear each other apart.
so Jay has a speedboat grabe from tibak to capitalist talaga. Hope he’s not going to go Willie and buy two yachts
Two yachts? Yeah! Willie said he’s buying (or probably already bought) a private jet and use it for business para naman umasenso siya….makes me feel sorry for myself knowing that i will never know the meaning of asenso until i get my own private jet…
let me get my piggy bank and start counting…magkano ba isa nun?
ilang hudred million lang yakang yaka steel
Willie’s probably overcompensating now that he’s able to afford those things. I remember an old interview when he just separated from Princess Punsalan, he said everything he owned fit into an old L300 van. he used to be just Randy Santiago’s sidekick back in the day di ba?
Besides, to each his own vice and collections. Martha Stewart has 8 houses and Celine Dion’s shoe collection now rivals Imelda’s.
hey jay’s right eye is back!
I saw that too, ran.
I don’t see it. Neither does Jay.
Now this drama of wolves, a farmer, his goat and cabbages is an ancient puzzle they taught back in math.
The fact there’s a chick thrown in makes it easier to solve
LOL nice save
Sneaky, Lyndon. Verra sneaky. 😉
sooo…anyone remember the solution off the top of their head?
hmmm….
First you take the wolf and the cabbage across, but you leave only the cabbage on the other side and take the wolf back with you.
Go back, take the goat with you this time and then cross once more (you now have both the wolf and the goat in the boat at the same time but since you’re there, the wolf won’t eat the goat).
As soon as you get to the other side, you now have the cabbage, the wolf, and the goat (I hope that’s correct).
I think there are other versions of the puzzle Mr. L wherein you can’t leave the animals by themselves (or else they will run away) and that you can only cross the river a certain number of times.
The one with right eye seems better for me, with due respect to L. Can the MILF put it back? 😀
