And man, do they look sweet!

There’s a plastic blue-and-white bucket for outlet use, and a full metal bucket (Ooh. Shades of Stanley Kubrick)  with colored art for personal use. Each bucket comes with its own bottle cap opener.

Guys, try to get your hands on these buckets before they sell out.

The last two images are the full comics I made for the initial two buckets design, one blue-and-white, and one colored.

Bearcuddles hats at Toycon2008, special update.

This is Xian Pe (real name undisclosed), one of the many sweatshop workers in Southeast Asia laboring past legal hours to finish the BearCuddles hats for ToyCon2008.

“I haven’t been home for two months already. I miss my dog. And the supervisor keeps ogling me. But I can’t do anything until I finish the quota of this BearCuddles before June 14th.”

Her story and thousands of others like hers make up the shameful secret of what’s driving the miraculous economic boom being enjoyed by this region of the world. But the real tragedy is, only a few BearCuddles hats will be ready by convention time, on June 14-15, 10am-6pm, in Megatrade Hall, Megamall.

Congratulations to Snow for 4 live puppies!

It’s certainly a joyous moment for Chompy when Snow aka “Mini-Chomps”, her 2-year old dachshund,  gave birth to a litter of 4 puppies, 2 male and 2 female. It was touch-and-go for the last one when blood spouted from the severed umbilical cord, but the little rascal recovered.

It’s been more than 24 hours, and all four puppies are bundat from drinking their mother’s milk.

As Chompy would say, “BERRRRI GUD!”

Lola Bhaby is proudly posing with her Jimmy BearCuddles hat. “I have been a loyal reader of Beerkada ever since I was a little girl. To me, it was a light-hearted alternative to the heavy drama of Kenkoy. What joy I felt when I discovered that BearCuddles, the bear-version of Beerkada, will be available in ToyCon2008 this June 14-15, 10am-6pm, in Megatrade Hall, Megamall.”
