- The third panel refers to the Beauty Queen story in Carlo J. Caparas comics, where a mysterious caller harasses a beauty pageant winner. He uses the words, ‘Magiging akin ka, beauty queen!’
She has a name, numbnuts.
- The second panel parodies the Nigerian bankers scam.
- The last panels parodies the strange habit of Mindanao folk to ask me for winning suwertres numbers. I heard Pol Medina, Jr. shares a similar problem.
- I tried looking for the Optimus Prime voice changer, but they were all sold out.
I tried looking for this toy in Toys R’ Us Robinsons Galleria, but they said they were out-of-stock.
I’m not surprised.
