The corners of the Cubao intersection between Gateway and Plaza Fair now have guards cordoning off foot traffic during red lights.
All four corners.
I swear, Psychocow won’t like this freedom-curtailing turn of events.
Oh, and if you haven’t noticed, I’ve started blogging about new things happening all over the Metro. Blogging keeps increasing in popularity, and this has left me wondering, “How can I get into all this action? What niche can I fill in?”
I realize that while most people stay on one area day after day, I get to travel a lot all over the metropolis. And so I’m posting on the various goings-on in my daily walkabout for the next couple of days.
Keep tuning in!
Actually matagal na yung practice na ‘to dun sa area ng Farmer’s Market. Pasaway din naman kasi yung mga tumatawid ‘e.
Cordon? Di ba saksakan un? =p
It’s not only on implemented in Farmers but also on pedestrian lanes between Alimall and SM Cubao and between Shopwise and the Big Dome..
If only drivers inside the Empire of Araneta folowed speed limits, I see no need for this.
However, Araneta should implement this on the P Tuazon entrance of Almall and the RCBC acros the street where there more vehicles especially Jeepneys, buses and big trucks
Yup. I think they have been doing that for the past three years or so. They have guards yelling at people with their bullhorns. Should you really defy them, they will do their darnedest to embarrass you (it was a sight to see actually: people covering their faces in shame while crossing the street).
Best thing I remember is them yelling “Kehp rayt” each time they let the ropes down and release the cattle este people. 🙂
