This is soo sad. Parang yung scene when Dr. Freeze was vanquished in Batman & Robin (I know, I know, the movie was the worst of the series but I liked it anyway).
L: nobody deserves to die alone with no one to even notice their passing di ba? It’s like that song from Rent, how can you measure the life of a woman or man?
maawa naman kayo ke Harry, porke’t weirdo and nerdy eh, kinakawawa nyo. Kayo kaya ang misunderstood? Sometimes PsycoCow’s reviled than Harry, still you LURVE Cow…
Damn that’s cold L. Nobody should ever have to die alone. Even a jerk like Harry could change his evil ways and find the One right? Look at Glen, for all his torpeness, he found Chompy (or vice versa).
I’m more curious as to what the bonsai tree will do to Jimmy now. Will his cluelessness negate its power or will it unlock the secrets of Jimmy’s mind? Ooooh, the suspense. 😛
Rent is my favorite musical! I’ve memorized all the songs! La Vi Boheeeeime! 😀
Jimmy’s so forgetful that it’s unlikely that he would remember any enlightenment the bonsai might shed on him 🙂
Mary: you do know that Rent is a social commentary about a group of friends struggling to find themselves in the shadow of poverty and AIDS right? It’s a very smart musical, but one heckuva sad one. Seasons of Love is one of my fave songs for the lyrics, but my personal fave musical is Hairspray. it’s a lot funnier.
Rodney: both PCow and Harry are obnoxious and annoying. Harry comes off as the worse of the two because every one of us has a “Harry” in our lives, whereas PCow stays safely within the confines of the beerkada universe 🙂
Phoebe: yes your right about Harry and the Cow being annoying and obnoxious…
But ofcourse, Harry is also very different than the Cow…
(every character has its own unique personality)
And we Loved Harry for being the way He Is… 🙂
…..
I kinda like Rent too…
Hairspray: yes, it’s funny, but when the movie came… i kinda hate na… i had “Travolta” nightmares when i watched that movie… *creepy*
Rodney: Edna Turnblad is traditionally played by a man in drag, but you’re right. John Travolta grossly overacted in the 2007 version. I preferred the original Edna (Divine) in the original John Waters 1988 movie starring Ricky Lake. It’s not a full blown musical, and it’s even funnier.
Pheobe: Rent taught me many profound things about living your life like treasuring relationships and not selling out or selling yourself short for something as worthless as money. It was my first source of enlightenment about life and the ‘real’ world. 🙂 That’s why I love it so.
Hairspray was really cheesy for me though. :-S
Mary: yup, Hairspray is very cheesy, and like pizza, that’s what makes it so enjoyable 🙂
As for Rent being your first source of enlightenment about life and the real world, always remember that books, movies and plays based on the real world is still edited and filtered through the view of the author(or screenwriter), further filtered through the view of the director and then the interpretation of the actor. what you’re getting is the ‘refined’ and heavily edited version of reality, not the whole raw deal. Learn your lessons from them, but don’t take them as the gospel truth.
Also, only people who don’t need money think it’s worthless. Money, like love, is not everything, but it is necessary and nice to have around. Money itself, like power and energy is latent and neutral. The way it is used dictates its effect as good or bad.
Point taken on edited reality, but still, it was an eye-opener for me. To be honest, I wasn’t very open minded to homosexuality until I saw that movie. It got me thinking less prejudiced thoughts. And of course I realize money is necessary and can be put to good use, and I need money (lord knows I’m a total spendthrift) I’m just saying that when it comes down to what really matters, you don’t measure your life by how much money you have, but by the people you’ve met and have become significant to you. “Seasons of Looove…” 🙂
How about chinggay? I’m told its a filipino-chinese name. 😀
what the… what’s this musical thing doing here? Isn’t it a bit way off-topic? But anyway, If I haven’t got my family, I’d rather prefer dying alone because in that sense, I have proven the old song, No man is an island, wrong. For me, it’s the ultimate Nirvana, having shared the joy of life but not the grief. That’s just me but if you contend with that you would be inane enough.
That is so… sad… I mean no offense and ill-intention, pero nalungkot ata ako dun ah.
serves him right!!!
nyahahahahahaha!!!
This is soo sad. Parang yung scene when Dr. Freeze was vanquished in Batman & Robin (I know, I know, the movie was the worst of the series but I liked it anyway).
oo nga… i call for harry having a “special someone”… (and not just a blow up doll)
harry is the new glen (well, not really…hehe)
Wow. Harry as an object of sympathy?
Creepy.
Rehaz: no way. Glen=torpe. Harry=evil.
L: nobody deserves to die alone with no one to even notice their passing di ba? It’s like that song from Rent, how can you measure the life of a woman or man?
correction pala, the lyrics are ‘how do you measure the life…’
Minsan na nga lang umapir si Harry, kinawawa pa… :p
Hinde bagay kay Harry ang kaawaan… wahahahaha!!!
maawa naman kayo ke Harry, porke’t weirdo and nerdy eh, kinakawawa nyo. Kayo kaya ang misunderstood? Sometimes PsycoCow’s reviled than Harry, still you LURVE Cow…
Ph03bz, you like Rent? I have it on DivX
Go harry make affiliates
Ken: The Cow is way too different than Harry… bwahahahahha
Ken: yup, I like Rent. the song lyrics are very witty 🙂
The cow’s more annoying than Harry though, No Offense PCow

Jimmy on enlightened….
Tingingingingngining…
I am now a Father!!!!
Being annoying is exactly the reason why we love the Cow…
That makes the Cow and Harry very different…
Jimmy’s so forgetful that it’s unlikely that he would remember any enlightenment the bonsai might shed on him 🙂

akala ko self-expression lang yun… hahaha, na-enlighten ako dun ah…

Marami pa namang mangyayari kay Harry. His future is not set on stone. 😉

Whoops! that last statement was meant for the next strip. hehe, sorry I lost my head there. You don’t have to count that, L. hehe. <:-D
Mary: I’m a full-blooded tsinoy but I don’t know anyone chinese named Chinggay ha.
Mary: Chinggay is a funny name!!! sounds like a Girl Monkey… “Tsonggo”…

Now that I noticed, It’s really nothing to it to die alone. Only problem is where to dispose your body?
k: household cat.
L: ano yan, Revenge op da Siopao? Anyone seen Colombiana? Loved the dogs. Until they were commanded to eat. *shiver*
pakain sa pusa ba L?
