The CBCP won’t take offense knowing L is just trying to be funny. However, those who seek to put the Church in a bad light (intentionally or unintentionally, for reasons noble or otherwise) may use this as troll fodder. The Holy rollers (who may not necessarily be ordained priests/nuns or be numeraries for Opus Dei) would go ballistic and turn the discussion into a massive flame war.
Such was what happened in flashpoints like the RH Bill and those Church Sex Abuse scandals.
