I understand that cable companies worry about illegal connections, unpaid bills, and non-renewing subscribers.
I even will forgive their hostile treatment towards their paying clients, sending notices with thinly-veiled threats of lawsuits, public humiliation and such.
What I can’t understand is their cheerful apology to customers who did settle their accounts on the very same notice.
It’s efficiency colliding with customer service, leaving a train wreck of mixed feelings.

Well said, L. Good thing for me and my family, we get Destiny & SkyCable and not the Genghis Khan Cable Company. They don’t threaten to send in their pillaging hordes to our house if we miss our payments.
