This strip reminds me of something I’ve heard about on Mo Twister’s show and seen in the movie Salt called “Go Bag” that you will bring in case of such emergencies
The bag should contain:
1. A change of clothes (clean undies included)
2. Emergency cash
3. Copies of important documents (like your Birth certificate, land titles)
4. Firts Aid kit and meds
5. Food and water supplies for 1-3 days (a can of Tuna Paella or 2 and energy bars)
6. Flashlight and matches or a lighter
7. Battery-powered AM Radio (unless your phone has one)
8. A utility knife (like a Swiss Knife or its Chinese clones or a Machete)
9. Chargers for your cellphone, flashlight, laptop and or radio
10. A defensive weapon (necessary if you either live in a bad neighborhood, there’s a war on or if there are Zombies are running around)
11. A package of tissue paper
I’m also thinking you should have medium plastic containers where you place your semi-valuables like clothes, beloved books and what-nots if you have some spare minutes during an emergency. Then you leave them in place and hope they dont directly get burnt.
They will survive hose water and other fire-related damages.
Also, buy an external drive, backup all your important data then bring the data along.
A messenger bag is perfect unless you prefer to wear a tactical vest and or combat webbing to carry all those shotgun shells and magazines for pistols and rifles.
A pistol isn’t enough against Zombies or AK-wielding Al Qaeda fighters. You will need to carry a rifle, SMG or a rifle
I take it everyone’s been watching Truth about Zombies then? Don’t forget spare load, batteries and spare chargers for your phone. You’ll never know when you might need them. You might also want to have sims from other network just in case your network doesn’t have coverage in that area.

Tora^2: for number 10, I think the ammunition should have a seperate bag for itself if you really want to survive a zombie attack.
