I loved Catcher in the Rye, i think it’s the original angsty novel. I recommend reading it alongside S.E.Hinton’s The Outsiders. Holden Caufield and Ponyboy Curtis are polar opposites.
Kyokyo: J.D. Salinger is the reclusive writer of Catcher in the Rye. The novel is considered a modern classic and is often mentioned in movies like Conspiracy Theory (Mel Gibson) and 6 Degrees of Separation (Will Smith).
Bryan was fortunate he was only reading a tabloid. It could have been worse if the phoney mag he was reading was a copy of Playboy or some other NSFW mag imported thru Filbars.
What a phoney way of making use of such a great literary classic.
The book was 4th – year High School required reading
To Salinger a great man, a great writer, may he rest in peace
I think the Jimmy response is a little out of taste.
Err who is J.D. Salinger? sorry if I don’t know
