Ah parents, My mom actually said the same thing about traveling the philippines before traveling the world. 😉 We’ve been abroad more than once but we haven’t done much traveling in our own country.
L: In case your parents actually do go along with that Idea, I suggest they go to Cagayan de Oro City misamis oriental and go white river rafting, plus, while they’re there, they should just gorge themselves with all the lechon manok and lechon baboy they can, cause it just won’t compare with anything they’ve had in Manila. From there they can go to Duka bay which is a simply wonderful beach getaway. They should also try going to bukidnon to take in the beautiful mountain views and I would suggest they go over to the taipan hotel and restaurant, the food there is so rich and delicious, it’s not to be believed.
sigh, I miss traveling around home. -_-
Guilty. I’ve been to lots of places from hk to us, but the only places in the philippines i’ve been to (aside from cebu) are manila, bohol, cagayan de oro, and davao. I’ve never even been to boracay and palawan.
Phoebe: Have you ever been to you?

Guilty as well, Phoebe. I’ve been to Europe and the US, but I have only been to Bicol, Tagaytay, Mendez, Bulacan and Zambales.
We need to get out more in the Philippines.
Same here.
I have been to Dubai yet I don’t have the money to explore the rest of the Philippines let alone the time to even go beyond QC and Makati where I work
