You sure it’s Bugs not Lola Bunny? Eva pilots aren’t thin… they’re fit. If they’re olive oyl thin they’d be needing padding for their plug-suits. Apologies to the ladies for the previous sentence
There’s a couple problems protesting against thinness:
1.While people rag about cartoons, how about all those photoshopped models on magazines meant for women? And boy do those magazine get lapped up.
2. “Rubenesque”
Women in those paintings had a moderate amount of body fat on them. On another hand, the painter Peter Paul Rubens painted their features in a flattering way. What we see these days are friggin’ obese people -so fat, you have to put two of me side-by-side.
Women who try to make excuses for their obesity by saying Rubenesque or talking about culture and “back then” aren’t getting the point at all. If you look at the great history of art, women ranged from very fit to a moderate silhouette. Furthermore, the time when they had bigger women in paintings was usually from the fact that these women were more wealthy -wealthy enough to get painted. Paintings of the common people show that they weren’t as fat.
Well, there’s Pugad Baboy.
*blinks* Is that from Neon Genesis Eangelion? They’re THIN? Haha ooh, Olive Oyle~!
“Alan has a folder full of her images???”
does she mean the playboy symbol or girls dressed in bunny outfits? *drool* ehehehe
