I think the essense of the original strip was captured in this translation. This is based on a real-life conversation by my parents.
Looking back, this strip has a whole new meaning. Before, it was just a promise of what Glen’s lies ahead in Glen’s future. Now, it sums up the whole college experience.
Back in my engineering college days, the hallways were filled with signs that say ‘Engineers serve the country’. Liberal Arts majors serve the country, too. With a side order of fries. 😀 Kidding.
