I thought Alan should know what a Bolero jacket is. His fashion IQ went up in that low point when the mancard was abolished and all male members of the Beerkada sans Bryan went Metrosexual
…This is the first I’ve heard that bolero has another meaning in tagalog.
Oh my gawd, I hope I didn’t insult anyone when I was pointing out to boleros in SM!
Haha! I get it. I almost had a similar experience last year while window shopping with my girlfriend in the mall.
Her: “Ang ganda ng bolero! Gusto ko yun!”
Me: “Ha? Sinong bolero?” [put totally clueless expression here].
It was minutes before I understood what she meant by bolero; a short polo/jacket/arm warmers that cut to the midrift.
needless to say, in my curiosity too, we bought the bolero 😛
